Finished size 2" by 3 1\2"
BUSINESS CARD PATTERN BY LOUISE CHISHOLM Feel free to use this design for yourself and your pleasure. If you sell of publish it, please give me design credit.
Materials: Bristol board, various papers, white glue, gold spray paint.
Instructions: If, like me, you are a packrat, you have saved scraps from other projects and have lots of bits you can use up for this. The same is true with both shapes and edges that come out of your paper punches.
1. Rule bristol board in rectangles 2" by 3 1\2". Turn over and collage on other side.Glue everything down with white glue, Smooth it down as you go. Stick papers at random all over bristol board, letting some original colour show. Here I used brown paper, rice paper, tea-dyed book pages, hearts from my paper punch, sheet music, painted paper. You could use almost anything.
2, Spray lightly and irregularly with gold spray paint. Do it outside. Dry well.
3. Using scissors or utility knife and the lines you ruled, cut out each card.
4. Print, write, stamp etc. desired text on blank side of card.
